Inspired by the plein air paintings seen at the DAM, we're hosting a longer meetup to enable deeper work. If you've wanted to try painting with oils/acrylics/gouache AND/OR wanted to try a bigger work surface or digging into more detailed work, we'll finally have more time to do it! And if your preference is creating shorter works, we'll have a morning session AND an afternoon session to accommodate everyone's schedules. (Tentative) Schedule
10:30am- 12:30pm Morning Session
12:30pm- 1:30pm Lunch Break
1:30pm- 4:00pm Afternoon Session
Our meeting spot will be the Avanti Building while sketchers are invited to sketch anywhere along Pearl St or the inside food court area. Food and bev will be easily accessible. As usual, feel free to connect with other urban sketchers for carpooling, art supplies, etc.
