Often cited as the inspiration for RESERVOIR DOGS, it's as gritty and unrelenting as you imagine: Its raw, documentary-style cinematography and explosive finale cement its status as a neo-noir masterpiece that begs to be seen on the big screen.
This newly restored 4K edition from Shout! Studios, sourced from the original camera elements, is part of the Golden Princess movie library recently acquired by the studio. The collection includes 156 highly sought-after classics from Hong Kong’s cinematic heyday, now rescued from years of legal purgatory. As part of the HONG KONG CINEMA CLASSICS retrospective, The Plaza and Tara Theatres will proudly screen nine of these restorations throughout September and October 2025.
