Join us in this sensory workshop where we will be exploring different ways of playing with light and shadows.What's included:
Make shadow puppets using an overhead projector to project your images onto the wall
Create window pictures to hang in your window for yourself and passersby to enjoy
Experiment with UV paint: make spin paintings using salad spinners; and make brilliant marbled papers using UV marbling inks.
Explore the light boxes and play in our black out den
Make some Hi Viz crafts for you to wear so that you can be super visible in the darker evenings!
We will provide an abundance of materials for you to explore and give you any guidance and support you need to bring your ideas to life. Make as many different creations as you want and you can take them all home.
The theme of these sessions are a starting point for your child’s creativity. The Playroom is full of resources and is a space to explore ideas. Your child may choose to do something different which is fine by us!
Please note: This workshop is suitable for children of all ages including under 5s.
All bookings include one-day membership to the Scrapstore Warehouse, where you can collect up to a basket of scrap for a donation of £6 (less if the basket isn't full).
