Pan Pastels are the intersection of painting and drawing. Exercises ranging from mono-prints to stencils will be presented throughout the day. The goal is to try new things and get in a creative flow. While students are welcome to bring their own art Pan Pastels, there is no need to purchase them. They will be provided.
Students should come to class with lots of paper or other substrates. Bring some bad watercolor paper that you have been struggling to use up for some mono-printing exercises or gesso over old watercolor paintings or drawing and bring those along for practice and/or building backgrounds.
