FREE EVENTFor many years, the Patron of RAODS and the Plaza Theatre has been Mark McGann. One of the McGann acting family, Mark was an Olivier award nominee for his stage show Lennon (about John Lennon) and amongst his many other acting, writing and directing credits was his role in the TV series Shackleton. Mark has run a number of acting and directing one day courses for RAODS members. And this year - in the run up to the Romsey Festival - Mark will be guiding and directing 14 RAODS members to produce a play in a day - specifically, The Crucible.
Members of the public are welcome to come and watch the rehearsal and performance process - for as long or as short a time as they wish - from the seats at the rear few rows of the auditorium. Entrance is free - but you may be asked if you want to join RAODS!
Entry is from 10am, and the theatre will remain open until 4pm.
