Play chess on the grounds of Laurel Hill Mansion. This historic summer estate in Philadelphia’s East Fairmount Park sits on a bluff above the Schuylkill River. There are lots of cool, breezy locations on the old property for outdoor chess, including the back porch, a gazebo and dozens of shade trees. Please bring a chess board and pieces as we have non to provide. Everyone is welcome to come play chess though those under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. We start playing at 12:30 P.M.

We are located at 3487 Edgley Drive, Philadelphia PA 19121, off of off of Reservoir Drive and across from Edgley Field. There is ample Free Parking. Restrooms are available. Please call 215-235-1776 for more information.
