Get your free tickets to attend the beacon lighting ceremony in Crystal Palace Park to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, as part of Bromley Council’s planned Jubilee celebrations.
This event forms part of the national Platinum Jubilee celebrations where over 1,500 beacons will be lit throughout the nation, UK Overseas Territories and the Commonwealth capitals in recognition of The Queen’s long and selfless service.
Bring a picnic to celebrate the start of the Jubilee long weekend and enjoy an evening with bugler, bagpiper, choir and young cadets lighting the Bromley beacon.

Getting there:
By train: The park is a short walk from Crystal Palace Station or Penge West Station.
By bus: Routes serving the park and its surrounding area include 3, 122, 157, 202, 227, 249, 322, 358, 363, 410, 417, 432, 450.
By car: No parking facilities in the local area. Ticket holders are strongly advised to use alternative means of transport.
Please note that there will be no opportunities to purchase food or drink onsite and so please do bring a picnic.
Well behaved dogs are welcome, please ensure they are kept on a lead and you have appropriate materials to clean up after them.
Terms and Conditions of Entry:
1. Bag searching is a condition of entry
2. Under-16’s must be accompanied by an adult (18+). A maximum of 4 under 16’s per adult is permitted
3. There is a strict zero tolerance policy to drugs and “legal highs”
4. Anyone found in possession of illegal substances or contraband goods will be refused admission, ejected from the entrance and the Police may be informed accordingly
5. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission and confiscate any item which may not be suitable for the event, as well as a danger to others within the event site or the rest of Crystal Palace Park. See Prohibited Items list below
6. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission for any reason, including but not limited to, Visitors being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and/or acting aggressively towards any members of the public or event staff
7. Visitors who damage any structures within the Event site will be held responsible for that damage and the Organisers may take legal actions against the Visitor if needed.
8. Re-Entry will not be permitted
9. To ensure that the Jubilee Beacon Lighting Ceremony stays a safe family event, the following items are not permitted to be brought on site. Any person found in possession of any of these items will be asked to dispose of them on entry or they will be confiscated by a member of the security team. Possession of illegal items will be handed over to the police and dealt with accordingly.

h. Air Horns / Smoke Canisters
i. Fireworks / Explosives / Flares

m. Spray paints / Graffiti pens
n. Flags / Poles
o. Tents / Gazebos

q. Large Luggage Items

t. High-Vis Bibs / Jackets / Vests – to be worn by event staff only
u. Any other articles that may be a danger to the public or cause nuisance – this is at the discretion of show security.
