About this Event
Nurturing the plants that grow with us can foster empathy, patience, and a heightened sense of connection. In this workshop, Chantel will walk us through four principles for deepening our relationships with both plants and people, which in turn strengthens our intution and helps us feel rooted in ourselves. Malka and Chantel will also lead walking meditations in the garden and land around it, guided meditations with tea tastings to practice intentional relationship building with plants, and provide materials for attendees to make their own teas to take home.
Please bring:
- A notebook and pen
- A blanket or chair for sitting in the garden for meditation/journaling
- Hats
- A mug for tea tasting

Between the damage to the beloved greenhouse at Lederer Gardens and our fiscal sponsor, Open Collective, shutting down by the end of the year, 2024 has been the year of The Pivot. We've had to cut back our regular programming to focus on our Herbalism in Community Cohorts and host fewer classes, but without your support, this pivot would not be possible. If you would like to continue to support us, please consider making a donation to our Cash App ($dcmaapothecary).
