About this Event
Pollinators are a hot topic, and gardening with pollinators in mind is easy with a little understanding. In this engaging lunch and learn session, you'll uncover the connection between native plants and pollinators, what exactly qualifies as a “native plant”, their ecological roles and benefits, how to add them to your landscape, and where to find and cultivate native plants in your area. Did you know there are way more pollinators out there than just honeybees and monarch butterflies? We'll discuss host plants, nectar plants, moths, butterflies, bees, and other helpful insects plus share lists of pollinator plants that you can incorporate into your landscape for year round interest.
