Winter can leave us feeling heavy, stuck, and weirdly “behind” in life even when nothing is technically wrong. Ostara (the Spring Equinox) is the seasonal reset button. A time of balance, renewal, and new beginnings, when we intentionally welcome growth back into our lives.
In this cozy, hands-on DIY workshop, you’ll plant a live succulent inside a teacup and turn it into a living Ostara symbol. Not just decor, but a tiny, thriving reminder of what you’re choosing to grow this season.
Why Ostara (and why you’ll feel better after)
Ostara is traditionally honored with spring symbols (eggs, flowers, candles) and especially planting, because planting is intention you can hold in your hands. It’s a physical way to say: “I’m ready for new life.”
Why planting a succulent in a teacup matters
Planting is a classic Ostara act of renewal and intention-setting.
A succulent adds an extra layer of magic: it’s resilient, slow-growing, and steady it's the perfect ally for anyone rebuilding consistency, hope, or self-trust.
And the teacup? That’s your ritual container, a sweet little “home” for what you’re nurturing next.
What to expect (2-hour flow)
- Welcome + grounding (10 min): arrive, settle, choose your vibe for spring
- Ostara mini-teach + intention prompt (15 min): simple, practical, and beginner-friendly
- Pick your teacup + plant (60 min): guided step-by-step planting + styling
- Care + “how to keep it alive” tips (15 min): watering, light, and long-term success (no plant-parent guilt)
- Blessing + close (20 min): intention anchoring + a quick share (only if you want)
