This year we are thrilled to announce that Timbuk Farms will be supplying and designing our many gardens (7-9 beds worth of beautiful new plants!). Come join us for a day of planting, mulching, and gardening on May 16. The flowers and plants were carefully chosen by the team at Timbuk and we can't wait to see some new hues around Goodale's vast oasis this year. There is still time to become a member or donate to the cost of plants and materials for the gardens. Check out friendsofgoodalepark.org for more info.Please join us Saturday from 9am to noon in Goodale Park. Meet at the Caretaker's Residence in the center of the park (use Park St driveway into the park and follow until it dead-ends). Please wear weather- appropriate clothing, as we will be working outdoors.
A weather update will be posted on Facebook at 8am the morning of the event, so please check before heading to the park.
Got tools? Bring em! We have a supply of garden gloves and tools, but we always need more. Hand trowels, shovels, and clippers (non-electric, please) are always in demand.
