About this Event
Plants and trees are our kin. They might on some level look static and green, but of course they are lively beings, sensing and communicating with the world around them, with their own life stories.
The light evenings are back!
Come with me on an unhurried and informal expedition where I’ll guide us through some activities I enjoy to connect us with the plants. We’ll feel into the spring, do some sensory practices and have a meeting with a plant that’s in season. Really it’ll be more of a sit than a walk.
You won’t learn plant names and identification. You will have the opportunity to start to see and feel the plants living around you differently.
If you’ve been before: I’ve got lots of new inspiration so every session will be different - and this stuff gets better with practice! If you haven’t been before - welcome!
Please bring: weather appropriate clothing, water, pen and paper, something to sit on or a stool if you’re not comfortable sitting on the ground. If the weather is unpredictable, check your email before you travel.
Meeting point: The Kidneys, Oxford - you will receive an email with details of the location when you register, do look at this carefully.
Please consider giving a ticket donation of £3 (if not possible for you this time, completely understand - you can give any amount). This will enable me to buy some materials, do some photocopying, and hopefully help me predict numbers of attendees.
Notes: under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please note that you attend at your own risk.
These workshops are planned roughly monthly, you can visit my website to stay informed.
