Milky Oats are a nervine - they calm and sooth nerves that are overstimulated and overwhelmed. They buffer stress, exhaustion and burnout and support the adrenals by nourishing and repairing nervous system tissue, coating the ends of the nerves with a naturally occurring latex to heal and restore normal nerve function.
Milky Oats are unripe oat seeds in the budding flower tops on the oat plant (Avena sativa), where oatmeal comes from. As the buds begin to form, there is a small window of time when thick creamy “goo” develops before the bud continues growing into oats. This white creamy latex-like liquid is called “milky oats.”
You will make tincture with fresh organic milky oats from the Methow Medicinal Herb Farm in Twisp, WA, freshly harvested the day before class. You will go home with enough tincture for your choice of either three or six 4oz bottles. The three 4oz bottle class option is $60. The six 4oz bottle class option is $120. Each 4oz bottle retails for $40 each, so this is a huge savings to make your own. And it will be infused with your love.
