The community is invited to join us for this 41st Annual MLK Opening Ceremony to kick off the weekend of festivities. Our keynote speaker is Plant City native Pastor Allen D. Shephard Jr. Born and raised in Plant City, FL, son of the late Deacon Allen D. Shephard Sr. and Rosia Shephard. He is currently the Pastor of Bethel Missionary Baptist church in Mulberry, FL for 15 years. The event is free to the public.
