About this Event
Discover delicious alternatives and substitutions for baking many of your favorite treats. This class will demystify vegan baking for vegans, those with egg and dairy allergies, or anyone looking to add more plant-based ingredients to their diets.
Chef Cassandra will explain the pros and cons of different types of egg replacements and non-dairy milks and butters and teach you the best techniques for using each. You’ll apply this knowledge to making pie crust, meringue, cupcakes, buttercream, and cookies. You'll leave with skills that you can recreate in your kitchen, as well as a selection of delectable treats to take home.
