About this Event
This session will focus on how to plan intentionally with EAL students in mind. We will look at students who are on eCredits for Senior Years as well as students from K - 8 who have student specific plans (SSPs) for EAL purposes. We will differentiate between language learning stages as well as discuss how to know when to change stages.
We will also focus on how to incorporate and interweave both EAL goals for the student specific plans (SSPs) and subject curricular outcomes. This session will also benefit subject-area or classroom teachers planning for their EAL learners.
Finally, in this session you will be given time to focus on planning classes with EAL students in mind.
