Climbing the sew-cial ladder.
Do you have a fabric and pattern at home that you've been meaning to sew up but are afraid to start because you're not sure about your skill level?
Then this class is for you. In this 6-week class we will walk you through the stages of completing your garment from start to finish. We will show you how to take your proper measurements, how to adjust the pattern for those measurements, how to lay out your pattern most effectively, what notions you will need for your project and then we will help you sew your project together.
Homework may be necessary depending on the complexity of your pattern.
The great thing about this class is that we will have six different projects going at the same time, so not only will you learn about your own project but you will also be able to see and hear solutions to problems that you may not face today on your current project but may be facing in the future on other projects.
The classroom is fully equipped with conventional sewing machines and all the tools you made need. Sergers are not provided for use.
Tuesday evenings 7:30 - 9pm (9 hours) Starting November 12th, 2024
(6 Classes Ending Dec. 17th)
Cost $200.00 plus Tax
Please bring in your fabric and pattern before the first day of class to make sure the pattern and fabric will work well together.
