About this Event
PLANNING AHEAD: A FREE PERSONAL DIRECTIVE WORKSHOP
Who would make decisions for you if you became unable to do so?
Did you know? A personal directive is an important legal document recommended for all adults. Your personal directive names someone you trust to make health and personal decisions for you if you become unable to do so in the future.
Have you been meaning to complete your personal directive? Are you caring for someone who needs one? Do you have questions?
Join us for a FREE, in-person, interactive workshop where we will walk through the steps together and help you get started.
We’re thrilled to be partnering with Paul Foisy, founder and principal lawyer at Foisy Law, along with law student volunteers from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law. For attendees who are ready to complete their personal directive, a limited number of on-site appointments will be available during the workshop.
Light refreshments will be provided.
