In partnership with Royal City Science and Crow Shield Lodge, join us at the Ken Seiling Waterloo Regional Museum on August 1 or 2 for a viewing of the One Sky Project inside our mobile immersive theatre. Each 30-minute session will focus on increasing our understanding of cultural and Indigenous astronomy, its historical and modern applications, and how our One Sky connects us all. With three shorts, we will explore Indigenous night-sky teachings from the Innu communities in northern Quebec, the Diné or Navajo people in southwestern US, as well as wayfinding by stars used by the seafaring Hawaiian island peoples.
Timed show tickets include admission to the mobile planetarium and the museum.
