About this Event

Join us for Planet Art VI πŸŒπŸ’šπŸŽ¨, an evening that promises to be brimming with snacks πŸ₯―πŸ₯™ and conversations on how we can make more sustainable yet delicious food choices πŸŒ±β™»οΈπŸ˜‹.

The sixth installment of this iconic fundraiser is themed around eating more sustainably, from local sourcing to plant-based alternatives. Alongside speakers on food systems, we are pleased to feature Steve Wren, an Executive Chef with a passion for sustainability, who will be running bread-making workshops and cooking demonstrations πŸ§‘β€πŸ³. The evening will close with open mic poetry πŸŽ€πŸ•Ί, which is sure to be a delight.

All ticket proceeds will be donated to the Oxford Food Hub, who support the reduction of waste πŸ—‘οΈπŸ“‰ by saving surplus food from producers and redirecting it to those in need by distributing it across charities and community projects across Oxfordshire ♻️❀️.

This event is in collaboration between the 🧑Oxford Climate Society 🧑 and πŸ’™Oxford Poetry Society πŸ’™, and in partnership with the πŸ’šClimate, Impact and Sustainability Oxford Business Network (CIS OBN) πŸ’š.Everyone is welcome to this event – so please join us for an evening of art 🎨, snacks πŸ₯ͺ, and meaningful conversations on food and sustainability πŸ˜‹πŸ’š.
