An introduction to Slow Looking in museums with a hands-on introduction, followed by a mindful exploration of the galleries.
About this Event

Families are invited to join us at MOX for an introduction to Slow Looking. Designed to help families slow down and notice more. There will be a 30-minute hands on introduction to each session: this will introduce some of the slow looking techniques. You will then be able to take what you have learnt into the galleries and explore more!

There are 4 sessions: 11.00, 12.00, 13.30 and 14.30

Please make sure to arrive on time. We allow a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals. After this point, we cannot guarantee admission to the activity.

This workshop is suitable for ages 5-11.

Tickets cost £1.50 per child and can be purchased online via Eventbrite (booking fee applies) or at the Museum Shop. Each child ticket includes free entry for one accompanying adult. It also includes access to the Galleries. Children must be supervised at all times.

We recommend booking in advance to secure your place.

Sales from tickets help support our work to deliver fun and accessible family activities, community engagement projects, schools workshops, exhibitions and special events for Oxford’s people in our Museum spaces.
