About this Event
One of the best reasons to grow your own food is so you can choose to grow vegetable varieties that are beautiful, unusual, delicious, and not commonly found at the grocery store. In this seminar Willi Galloway, the author of Grow Cook Eat: A Food-Lover’s Guide to Vegetable Gardening, will share her variety recommendations for the best tasting vegetables, plus growing, harvesting and storage tips for maximizing flavor. She will offer guidance on planning your vegetable garden now for a successful spring, summer and fall kitchen garden.

***All classes will be held in our greenhouse Hoop House 1, which is located right behind the store. It is a large greenhouse, so it functions as a covered outdoor area. We will have patio heaters going if it's cold out but please remember to dress so that you are comfortable during the presentation.***
