About this Event
This webinar is a online event to provide more detailed information on the changes to the placement program and how you can continue to be involved in helping to shape young peoples future pathways. The switch to a more student centered process aims to increase the sustainability of the program and therefore its longevity.
The intention is to create a platform that will allow eligible students to self-select placements from those listed by the provider organisations. The current platform relies heavily on manual matching of students to placements. This solution would allow providers to register and list placements in the system and be approved by a central team. Students would then be able to check their eligibility, and if eligible, apply for a placement. If their application is approved by the central team, students would then be able to apply for the placements that providers have already listed. Providers could then choose their preferred application, with the platform then facilitating onward conversation between providers and students.
