Being held on Sunday 15th February 2026, fishing starts at 6am and finishes at 12pm. This competition is open to all children 14 years and under. Fishing is limited to the Tauranga harbour only, this includes wharfs and rocks anywhere within the harbour.
Prizes for Snapper, Trevally, Kahawai and Wharf Fish (spoty, piper and yellow tail only).
All children that have entered the competition will be eligible to win the major spot prize draws. To claim prizes you must be present at the time of prizegiving.
