Armed with fierce guitar sounds and pounding drums, indie rock duo Cashmyra locked themselves away in the studio to record their new album sterven doe je toch wel, once again teaming up with long-time producer Harmen Ridderbos (Town of Saints, Electropoëzie, CAW CAW). The raw, shared emotion that Cashmyra and drummer Djai-Mac Wolthof are known for on stage comes through more vividly than ever, this time balanced by a cooler, more restrained sound the duo hasn’t explored before.
