About this Event
Original Dating is excited to bring our speed dating events to Winchester. A friendly, relaxed way to meet new people, spark real connections, and enjoy a pizza-filled memorable night out.
Across the evening, you’ll meet around 15–20 other singles through a series of easy-going four‑minute dates, just long enough to sense a spark, share a laugh, and see who you’d like to get to know better.
At the halfway point, we’ll take a short interval where you can grab some pizza out of a selections, mingle, and chat with other guests before the dates continue.
After the event, our private online matching system lets you choose who you’d like to see again. If the interest is mutual, the system will connect you so you can arrange that all‑important next date.
Expect a warm, sociable atmosphere, a great mix of guests, tasty interval pizza, and professional hosting that keeps everything smooth, natural, and completely stress‑free.

Important information
This event takes place in the downstairs bar. Please head downstairs where the host will meet you on arrival.
- Doors open 7.00 pm
- Event starts 7.30 pm
- Speed dating finishes at approximately 9.30 pm
- Venue closes 10 pm
It’s essential that you arrive before 7.25 pm in order to take part. We might not be able to allow entry if you are late. Please email us any dietary restrictions.

On arrival
When you arrive at the venue you’ll be greeted by our hosts who will sign you in and allocate you a table. Our host will briefly explain the format of the evening and you’re straight into your first ‘date’.
Girls stay at the same table throughout the evening and guys move around the room.
You’ll have 4 minutes to speed date each participant. We’ve found that 4 minutes is just long enough to find out if you'd like to see someone again but not too long if you don't.
After meeting each person, simply note down if you’d like to see them again before you meet your next date.
We'll have a short break halfway through and you will be able to order drinks at your table throughout the event.
After the event
The speed dating event is over when you have met everybody but this is often when the fun really starts. Most people stay at the bar for a few drinks and get to know the people they liked a little better.
The next day
The next day we'll will email you when the matching system is open. You'll log in to our website and enter your preferences and they people you matched with will display online. Our system allows you to message your matches securely without disclosing your email address.
