Emma Topping is an Executive Producer for films and series – including the Peter Rabbit feature franchise, a video games Producer, Entertainment Lawyer, and entrepreneur with over 25 years’ experience in the entertainment business. Emma also co-created and now leads the BA (Hons) Film Business & Production degree at Screen and Film School, alongside a wide range of impressive industry projects.

“There are many misconceptions about those working in the film business, one of these being that they’re not creative. This couldn't be further from the truth," explains Emma Topping, course leader of our BA (Hons) Film Business & Production degree.

"The outdated notion that film business executives or producers are just 'suits', disconnected from the creative process, is far removed from the reality of those actively shaping the industry in 2024.
