Join Chelsea Friends for recreation at the Pitch Haus, a pop-up art residency in a shipping container, in the parking lot of the Chelsea State Bank Plaza Branch at 1010 S Main St in Chelsea on Saturday, June 27th from 10am to noon for this SPECIAL hybrid workshop! We will begin the workshop by raku glazing a vase and putting it in the outdoor kiln. While we are waiting for the kiln to heat up, we will arrange dried flowers. Participants will leave the session with their beautiful raku vase and dried flower arrangement! This class is limited to 7 people.
** Note- Because of the nature of Raku, vases are suitable for dried flower arrangements only.
**Because of the multitude of factors that come to play in creating a piece out of clay from scratch, about 5% of the time a piece will crack in the firing process. Know that these circumstances are out of the control of Curiouser, and that Curiouser can not guarantee that your project will survive the firing process- unfortunately, cracks happen. Even to us! Should your piece crack during the firing process, unfortunately, there are no refunds.
All sales are final. Although there are no refunds or transfers to future workshops, should you find yourself unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person.
