Come join us at New Dia for a Pitch-a-Friend (ages 23-32), hosted by our friends at Weedmaps, a live event where friends present their single best friends to the crowd using creative, hilarious slide decks. Each presenter has a strict 3-5 minutes to sell the room on why their friend is a catch—think of it like a sales pitch. It’s part singles mixer, part gameshow, and the perfect way to break the ice without the awkward small talk.

Enjoy snacks, music, vendors at Boston’s number one cannabis destination. Built in social breaks where you can wander, meet people and help define a higher definition to a social setting.

PRESENTATION GUIDELINE & TIPS

Time & Tone: Aim for 3 to 5 minutes. The best pitches are honest, funny, and genuinely complimentary. While we encourage humor, avoid embarrassing them too much. You want the audience to date them, not laugh at them.

Creative Freedom: Feel free to get inventive with your format. People have done everything from dramatic readings of Hinge profiles to full PowerPoint breakdowns of "Why You Should Date [Name]." If you need a starting point, standard slide templates are a great way to stay organized.

The Mandatory Closer: Ensure your presentation ends with a static slide displaying your friend's face and their Instagram handle (or however they'd like to be contacted). We will put this on rotation after the presentations so the crowd knows exactly who to approach
