About this Event
We started Pistons & Pretzels in 2019 in Munich to create a space for automotive, transportation, and mobility designers to meet, chat, learn, find opportunities to collaborate, and share their passion and ideas. Its popularity grew quickly on an international scale.
Since the inaugural event, we’ve hosted Pistons & Pretzels in Frankfurt, Munich, the UK, Gothenburg, and now, for the second time, in California, USA. This year, we’re excited to announce that the event will be hosted at Mazda's California R&D facility, a brand known for its innovation, design execution, and high-performance sports cars.
At this special edition event, attendees will have the unique opportunity to view a curated selection of historic Mazda vehicles from their heritage collection, including models that highlight the brand's rich driving legacy and commitment to automotive excellence.
We encourage all participants to showcase their own cars and motorcycles or simply join in to explore the collection and connect with friends and colleagues in an informal setting.
While the event is organized by Konzepthaus, it is not a recruitment or sponsored event. It’s our way of saying a small “Thank you” to the entire design community and creating an opportunity for all of us to come together and have a great time.
