Floral Charcuterie WorkshopCome enjoy some wine, while you learn to make your own real preserved floral accented charcuterie board, to use at upcoming gatherings or give as a gift! You can choose to make a charcuterie board, lazy Susan, or trinket dish. The tasting room will be closed to the public for this private event, for a more intimate setting. Make it a date or girls night!
Your instructor is Paige McCafferty, local Sacramento resin artist that has been teaching resin workshops for 5 years. You may have seen her resin wave and flower boards at the Midtown Farmers Market.
In this workshop she will be sharing her techniques for mixing and pouring resin and creating a preserved floral accent on your board. The resin is food safe and FDA compliant. For a truly functional art piece that can last for years!
You will have several flowers to choose from to create your own customized functional work of art! You can choose a clear background, or a painted background for your flowers, as shown in the images. If you don't see a color option that you'd like, please send a message after your purchase to request your color. The painted boards will be prepped in advance, so you will be adding the flowers and resin only. All materials will be provided, as well as one glass of complimentary wine. Come and enjoy wine with friends as you get crafty!
You’ll need to leave your piece to fully harden/cure, and can pick it up the following weekend at Acheson Wine. Paying for it to be shipped to you is also an option.
