What is Pistol Skill Builder?
When you go to the range for a practice session, do you know what you are going to practice? Do you have a drill that you like to complete but do not understand the why behind it or how to improve on the specific drill? The Pistol Skill Builder is for you.
This skill building session is tailored to various drills to enhance your performance, understand what a drill/exercise is to accomplish, and to learn how to understand your own personal performance improvement. Pistol Skill Builder is designed to be a 2-hour range session for us to show students a drill, learn the skills required to complete the drill, and most importantly, understand what the individual shooter needs to work on to increase their performance.
Not every Pistol Skill Builder class is the same. Each class will have a different drill that students will complete to enhance their performance. Miss one class, the next one will have a new drill or exercise to complete.
Note: Students should have a basic understanding of firearms safety and safe handling prior to attending this course. This is not a beginner type lesson. If you are brand new to shooting, please check out the Handgun Fundamentals Class or contact us for Private Lessons!
Student/Course Requirements
Reliable Handgun
At least 2 magazines – or 2 speedloaders if shooting a revolver
Quality Holster and Magazine Pouch/Speedloader Pouch
Eye Protection and Ear Protection (electronic preferred but not required)
150 rounds of ammunition
Note book for taking notes, documenting times, lessons learned
Cost:
Cost for this practice session is $45.00 per shooter. A $15.00 range fee applies and payable to Crossroads Shooting Sports the day of the course.
Registration Policy and Terms:
Due to the unknown nature of scheduling, along with maintaining a minimum student count, a 50% refund will be given if you cancel your registration for any reason prior the event start date. If Valiant Training Solutions cancels the event, a FULL refund will be given.
You may transfer your registration to another student but please email [email protected] with the new registrant’s name and email and the order number attached.

REMINDER: Range Fees may be extra and can range from $10 to $25 depending on the range location and host. Be prepared to pay these fees on the first day of class.
