This Course includes: (1) Self-Defense Firearm Basics: Clearing Semi-Automatics and Revolvers, Additional Safety Considerations, Double Action v Single Action, Revolvers & Semi-Automatics Explained, Handgun Sizes & Weights, Pros/Cons of Handgun Options, Ammunition & Ballistic Basics, Ammunition & Semi-Automatic Clearances; and (2) Defensive Shooting Fundamentals on the range: Proper Grip, Stance, Sight Picture, Trigger Finger Discipline and Shot Delivery. Completion of this class qualifies students to take Pistol 2.
