Pioneer Days, March 10-14 2025 10am-3:30 Daily (except Day 5 which ends at 4pm)
Day One: $35 each, maximum of 6 participants, 6 y/o+
Day Two, Three & Four: $35 each or $100 for all three, maximum of 6 participants 8 y/o +
Day Five: $40 maximum of 6 participants,
8 y/o+ (with sewing experience or participation in one other pioneer day) 12 y/o (beginner)
Day Two, Three, Four & Five: $130, maximum of 5 participants 8 y/o+
Pictures of projects will be posted on the Event Page between now and March Break
Participants are asked to bring a bagged lunch. On day two participants may bring a hat to decorate but it is not required)
Day One 6 & up, max. 6 participants.
10 - 11:45: Safe Sewing Teddy Bears
11:45: Lunch
12:30-1:15: No Heat Baking
1:15-2:00: Visit Moose the Gentle Donkey
2:00-3:30: Yarn Birds
Day Two 8 & up, max. 6 participants.
10-12: Crochet a washcloth
12: Lunch
12:30-1:45: Soap Making
1:45-2:30: Fun with Fury - Horse Safety and ‘Friendly Games’
2:30-3:30: Ribbon Work Flowers and Trim
(Bring a summer hat or toque to decorate)
Day Three 8 & up, Traditional Apron Making

10-12: Natural Dyes
12pm: Lunch
12:30-1:15: Fun with Fury - Horse Safety & Obstacle Course
1:15-3:30: Simple Hand Sewing, 18th Century Apron
Day Four 8 & up, max. 6 participants.
10-12: Baking Scottish Shortbread Petticoats
12: Lunch
12:30 Paper Quilled Cards
1:45-2: Fresh Air Break
2:15-3:30: Sewn & Embroidered Bag (hand or antique machine)
