Qiwei Zhai (PhD student in Psychiatry) and Georgia Chatonidi (Postdoctoral Researcher in Food Science) kick off the festival with two talks that will make you rethink your daily habits!
19th of May: Rethinking the Obvious: Sara Karimzadeh (Associate Senior Lecturer in Sociology) and Diego Montiel Rojas (Lecturer in Sports Science) are challenging what we take for granted, from the waste we ship out of sight to how female athletes train. Prepare to have your assumptions questioned!
20th of May: Seeing is Believing
From cancer cells on the move to the images that shape how we learn, Annica Gad (Senior Lecturer in Oncology) and Jörgen Stenlund (Senior Lecturer in Science of Education) close the festival by taking us on a journey through the visible and invisible. Warning: you may never look at a scientific illustration the same way again!
