Menopause Matters: Everything Your Grandmother Never Told You (or Knew!)
For decades, women’s health has been under-researched, under-funded, and shrouded in a "hush-hush" culture. At Irrational Brewing, we believe knowledge is power—and it’s time to turn up the volume.
As part of our Irrational Cabaret series, we are hosting a special Pint of Science feature on perimenopause and menopause. This isn't just a biology lesson; it's a deep dive into the transition that affects half the population but is rarely discussed in the light of day.
Our expert panel features a cross-disciplinary team of women’s health champions, including:
- Medical Researchers on the cutting edge of hormonal health.
- Specialized Nurses who see the day-to-day realities of the transition.
- Pelvic Floor Physios and Strength Trainers to discuss maintaining vitality and physical power through the change.
Whether you are currently in the thick of it, sense it’s on the horizon, or simply want to support the women in your life, this evening is for you. Following our 40-minute facilitated panel discussion, we will have a brief intermission followed by a series of women’s health-themed performances that celebrate, satirize, and shine a light on the female experience.
