Pinsomniacs Pinball is proud to announce that we will be hosting a Satellite Event for the 2024 Pinburgh Match Play Tournament.Participants will have the opportunity to win entry into the 2024 Pinburgh Match Play Tournament in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania on July 24-27, 2024..
Pinburgh is currently in SOLD OUT and a satellite event is the only way to get into the tournament if you aren't already in. There are only 14 satellite events worldwide and Pinsomniacs Pinball is lucky enough to be hosting one in Jacksonville, FL.

HOW IT WORKS:
The Pinburgh committee wants anyone to be able to attend Pinburgh, not just the greatest players. That's why this event will be a tournament/raffle. The rules are simple, to win the Golden Ticket to Pinburgh, you have to play in the Group Match Play Tournament. Entry into the Group Match Play Tournament will grant you 1 raffle ticket. This tournament will be 12 rounds of qualifying. At the end of qualifying we will take the top 8 players to Semi-Finals. These 8 players will be given additional raffle tickets based on there seed going into the Semi-Finals. Seeds 8-5 will be given 1 additional raffle ticket. Seeds 4-1 will be given 2 additional raffle tickets. The drawing for the winner of the Golden Ticket to Pinburgh will be held prior to the start of Semi-Finals. You must be present at the drawing to win. The winning ticket is NOT transferable to anyone, not even a family member. If you do not want to use your Golden Ticket for any reason (already have entry, can't travel, etc.) Pinburgh will provide you with the cash value of the ticket, $350.00 (US).
Every player in the Pinsomniacs Pinball Golden Ticket to Pinburgh event will have the ability to buy 1 additional raffle entry at the time of check-in Saturday morning.
There will be a Fair Strikes Tournament (exact format to be determined, likely 5 strikes) on Friday May 31st. This Strikes Tournament will be the opportunity for you to practice. The winner of this event will also receive an additional Golden Ticket raffle entry.
Both of these tournaments (group match play and strikes) are IFPA sanctioned. Both tournament will have prize pots for the winners and give aways throughout the main event.
COST:
$60 Entry fee for the Group Match Play Golden Ticket Tournament on June 1st.
$30 for a 1 time additional raffle ticket at check-in
$20 Entry fee for the Strikes Tournament on May 31st.
Entry fees will be utilized to create prize pots for both tournaments as well as pay for tournament expenses.
REGISTRATION:
You will have to pre-register for this event. We are limiting the event to 68 players. Registration will be first come, first served and be online through Match Play Events. Registration begins on March 30 at 1:00 pm EST.
