Pins and Needles: A Fiber Arts Celebration--- Saturday, April 25
--- 2-4pm; at Normal Public Library
Whether you’re a needlework novice who's thinking about a new hobby or a seasoned crafter who is looking for new techniques, this program will allow you to explore the world of fiber arts with demonstrations of spinning, knitting, crocheting, quilting, cross stitch, embroidery, and more! Experienced artisans and representatives from local craft shops and fiber guilds will answer your questions as you learn about new fiber arts tools and materials.
Additionally, the Fix It Friday Repair Shop will also be in attendance, so bring something from your wardrobe that needs a little attention! (Fix It Friday offers basic sewing, mending, and clothing repair at no cost.)
This collaborative event is co-hosted by the Normal Public Library. No registration is required.
