After a long absence Pinky Beecroft returns to Hobart for one night only, for a rare performance at Altar Bar.
Pinky Beecroft is a musician singer writer and raconteur possibly best known as the lead singer of Machine Gun Fellatio, as well as The White Russians - and for his eccentric presence on TV shows as diverse as The Glasshouse and The World 9-Ball Championship. He has recorded several solo albums, written hits for others, won an ARIA Award for Song Of The Year and performed sell-out shows as a stand-up comedian.
After a long absence Pinky returns to Hobart for one night only, for a rare performance at Altar Bar. In his own words: "I haven't performed in Hobart for soooooo long and I miss it. I'll be doing some intimate just-me-and-a-piano tunes and I'm also bringing a band, so we can get loose. There will be greatest hits and favourite rarities. There will be stories. There will be heartbreak, joy and madness. PLUS I've just finished making a new record, so there will be new songs as well. I'm really excited for this - this one's going to be special."
