Az 1985-ben alakult együttes a német gothic rock első generációjának része volt. Első nagylemezüket, az If Two Worlds Kiss-t olyan hangzással adták ki, amely a new wave stílusra emlékeztetett, nagyon sötét tónusokkal és szintetizátorok használatával. Később a dark wave fejlődésének meghatározó részévé váltak.
A Tainted című albumukkal elért világsiker, valamint Amerika és Európa-szerte gyakran teltházas klubkoncertjeik után a berlini posztpunk legendák következő stúdióalbuma 2025. február 28-án jelent meg.
Az új album és a turné címe "BLACK SWAN", egy kifejezés, amely egy váratlan eseményre utal, amelyet utólag igazoltnak tekintünk, mintha előre is fel lehetett volna készülni rá.
Legutóbbi albumukkal és a hozzá kapcsolódó turnéval Mic Jogwer (ének, gitár), Luca Sammuri (basszusgitár) és Paul Richter (dobok) gyakorlatilag mindent elértek, amire egy zenekar csak vágyhat. Az év albuma lett a Byte FM-nél, a Post Punk Com 2021 legjobbjai között szerepelt, kislemezeik pedig a Német Alternatív Listák és az Indie Disco Top 40 első helyére kerültek. A világsajtóban kiváló kritikákat kaptak, és rendkívül jól látogatott – ha nem teltházas – klubkoncerteket adtak Los Angelestől Jerevánig, különösen Németországban.

A Choke City egy budapesti zenekar, amely a helyi underground színtér stabil tagjaiból áll. Jelenlegi formájában a zenekar teljesen szakított korábbi zenei múltjával, hogy megteremtsék saját, melankolikus, baljós, mégis súlyos hangzásvilágukat.
Stílusukat leginkább a lemezborítóik absztrakt látomásai írják le: a poszt-punk és a wave különböző korszakainak keveréke, egy csipetnyi keménységgel, amely kiemeli az introvertált hangulatot – ahogy a só kihozza az ízeket.
A zenekar 2021 óta egy nagylemezt és öt single-t/EP-t adott ki, valamint megjelentetett egy koncertfelvételt, amelyet a szekszárdi Művészetek Házában rögzítettek. 2025-ben új dalokkal készülnek, a budapesti Corbata Records gondozásában.

Pink Turns Blue are a German rock band from Berlin. Formed in 1985, they were part of the first generation of gothic rock in Germany and released their first LP, If Two Worlds Kiss with a sound reminiscent of new wave with very dark undertones and use of synthesizers, and went to become part of the developing sub-genre of dark wave.
After their worldwide success with their album ‘Tainted’ and their often-sold-out club concerts in America and Europe, the next studio album of the post-punk legends from Berlin was released on Feb 28 2025.
The new album and the tour are titled “BLACK SWAN”, the term for an unexpected event, which in retrospect is justified as if one could have prepared for it.
With their last album and accompanying tour, Mic Jogwer (vocals, guitar), Luca Sammuri (bass) and Paul Richter (drums) have cleared pretty much everything you could wish for as a band. Album of the Year at Byte FM, best of 2021 at Post Punk Com, singles at number 1 in the German Alternative Charts as well as the Indie Disco Top 40, excellent reviews in the worldwide music press and very well attended, if not sold-out club concerts from Los Angeles to Yerevan, especially in Germany, of course.

Choke City is a band from Budapest, Hungary, consisting of stable members of the local underground scene. In their current venture, they've cut ties with their musical past to create their present sound of melancholic, eerie, yet heavy sonic textures.
Their style can be best described with the abstract visions of their covers, which is a blend of post-punk, all eras of wave music, with a pinch of heaviness to emphasize the introvert vibes the way salt helps to elevate all flavors.
After dropping a full length beside five singles/EPs since 2021, and publishing a live set recorded at the prestigious House of Arts in Szekszárd, the band is ready to unleash new songs in 2025 on Budapest-based Corbata Records.
