From the instructor:
This is something near and dear to me. Martial arts has been such a long, arduous, and rewarding road and I want to give back to my community, with all money going towards the dojo (which is a 501c3 nonprofit)!
We want this to be a safe space for women and femme presenting people to train like the warriors they already are, and to know that the first part of learning self-defense is that you are worth defending.
Depending on the week, you will learn striking and blocking (sometimes the same thing), how to throw and how to fall (and how not to fall), how to control the space with an attacker, and so much more!
