About this Event
Join artist Chris Bird for a workshop on pinhole photography - a long known way to make photographic images without the use of a lens. You'll learn about the unique qualities of these magical images; you'll learn to make your own pinhole cameras and photographs; and you'll explore the creative potential of this simple, slow photography.
Chris Bird is a local artist who builds and adapts cameras to make pinhole images on both film and paper, and is interested in how the simple process condenses light, time, perspective and memory.
Please bring along an apron, or wear something you don't mind might get stained. No experience necessary, all materials included.
