On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, Pine Elementary School will open a historic time capsule that was placed on campus nearly 50 years ago.The time capsule was created in 1976 during the United States Bicentennial, marking the 200th anniversary of our nation’s founding. This capsule was originally buried at the former Pine School location on Brown Road with the year 2026 card in the marker. In December 2024, the capsule was carefully relocated to the current Pine Elementary.
Join us as we revisit this piece of Pine history and discover what students chose to preserve for the future.
Alumni, community members, former and current staff, and current students are welcome!
Did you attend Pine in the late 1970's or early 1980's? We invite you to join us as we open the time capsule and celebrate this special moment!
