Please join us this Sunday, March 1, as resident teacher Douglas Pullin leads the Sunday program with a Dharma talk on The Courage to Be Kind: What if the most compassionate thing we can do is stop being at war with ourselves? In this Dharma talk, we’ll explore self-compassion as the foundation for wise and courageous engagement in a troubled world. Rooted in Insight practice and the Buddha’s search for the end of suffering, we’ll reflect on how seeing clearly — impermanence, non-self, and interdependence — naturally gives rise to love in action. The morning includes guided and silent meditation, followed by a Dharma talk or reflection, and time for inquiry and community sharing. Our Sunday program is designed for both newcomers and experienced practitioners, offering an opportunity to practice mindfulness, compassion, and insight in a supportive Sangha environment.
