If you’ve ever felt unsure in a Pilates class, overwhelmed by fast-paced movement, or curious about Pilates but not sure where to begin—this course is for you.


Pilates Foundations is a 4-week progressive beginner course designed to teach you the how and why behind Pilates, not just the exercises. We move slowly, intentionally, and with purpose—building understanding, strength, and awareness from the ground up.


No experience needed. Just a willingness to learn and move.


What This Course Is About

This course is not about rushing through exercises or keeping up.


It’s about:


  • Learning the foundations of Pilates
  • Understanding your body and how it moves
  • Building confidence through knowledge and practice
  • Creating a strong base you can return to again and again


Each week builds on what you’ve already learned, so by the end of the 4 weeks, movement feels clearer, more connected, and more natural.


What You’ll Learn – Week by Week

Week 1: Foundations – Breath, Alignment & Core Connection


We begin with the essentials

  • Pilates breathing and how it supports movement
  • Posture, alignment, and neutral spine
  • Deep core connection and awareness
  • Pre-Pilates movements to prepare the body


You’ll learn how to move with intention and set a strong foundation for your practice.

Week 2: Stability & Control

This week focuses on support and control.

  • Shoulder and pelvic stability
  • Deepening core engagement
  • Understanding how stability creates freedom
  • Moving with control, not tension

You’ll begin to feel more supported, balanced, and confident in your movements.

Week 3: The Basic 10

We introduce the 10 classical Pilates exercises that form the backbone of a Pilates practice.

  • Learning each exercise step by step
  • Proper form, breath, and transitions
  • Building strength, coordination, and flexibility

These exercises will carry you through your Pilates journey long-term.

Week 4: Find Your Flow

Now we bring everything together.

  • Linking movement with breath
  • Adding additional exercises to expand the repertoire
  • Understanding flow as a Pilates principle
  • Moving with ease, control, and confidence

You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of Pilates and how to move fluidly through it.
