This training is for Yoga Teachers looking to incorporate Mat Pilates in to their classes or their own practice, or are just looking to build the confidence to sub a Pilates class on an as-needed basis.We will relate what we know about yoga anatomy and biomechanics to the common Mat Pilates movements to create practices that leave the body and mind feeling challenged but also balanced. We will cover breathing mechanics, musculoskeletal core anatomy, common Mat Pilates movements, how to sequence Mat Pilates movements in to a yoga class, how to sequence a full Mat Pilates-inspired class, and using yoga props in Mat Pilates movements. 30 minute lunch break included in the day.
