Please join us this First Friday, June 5th, in bringing some levity and laughter to our community. This is our 2nd annual Giggles show and we expect it to be as fun and fantastic as last year's. This show and the words below are the brainchild of our beloved member, Diane Rowen Garmire. Bring a friend or 2 and please share this event with those who will enjoy an evening of lighthearted fun. "Laughter, smiles, and humorous art might look as light as a feather on the surface—unless you’re laughing so hard you fall off your chair—but don’t be fooled: each is a heavyweight champion of influence. Humor can nudge us to giggle at the chaos of daily life, smiles can make awkward elevator rides feel like joyous reunions, and nature and art remind us that even a squirrel can be an inspiration (especially if it’s painted driving a motorcycle). Together, they’re the comedy ensemble of well-being, nurturing our mental health and inspiring hope and happiness. Life’s complexities may try to trip us up, but these unexpected, delightful elements are secretly blowing the magic bubble that keeps us sane—and laughing—all the way."
