About this Event
Roll, fill, and fold your way into one of Poland’s most beloved comfort foods in this fun, hands-on class led by People’s Pierogi in collaboration with Evelyn’s Midtown Kitchen. You’ll learn how to make pierogi completely from scratch! Starting with dough and ending with a beautifully finished plate.
Together, we’ll craft classic potato & cheese pierogi and savory corned beef pierogi, then bring it all together with traditional accompaniments like sour cream with fresh chives, braised sauerkraut, and seared Polish kielbasa with mustard.
Whether you’re coming with friends, a date, or flying solo, this experience is all about great food, great energy, and learning a timeless culinary tradition you can recreate at home.

About People’s Pierogi
Established in 2010, People’s Pierogi got its start selling handmade pierogi on
Saturdays at Detroit’s historic Eastern Market. What began as a local market favorite
has grown into a Metro Detroit staple, with appearances at the Farmington Farmers
Market from May through October, special events across the area, and catering for
weddings, parties, and celebrations of all kinds.
People’s Pierogi offers both traditional favorites and bold, creative fillings. From classic
potato & farmer’s cheese and sauerkraut to unique flavors like jalapeño popper, buffalo
chicken, and corned beef, we specialize in putting a fun, flavorful spin on a beloved
comfort food.
