Bring food, your family, your friends and yourself to Dupree Park and join members of the Woodstock Pride community as we enjoy an informal picnic in the park and get to know our queer community. Set up near the Lake Pavilion. Park map location will be added to this event shortly. There is a parking lot right next to our planned gathering area, for easy accessibility. This park has a small lake, hiking trails, fishing, pickle ball courts, basketball courts, tennis courts, a playground, fitness equipment and mountain biking trails as well as plenty of green space for us to enjoy. We are planning to sit nearby the lake in a shaded area but we may move to bigger area if enough picnickers show up! This is an open and informal event meant to let us connect with queer folks in our area. Community helps us know we’re not alone and is critically important in these troubling times. Come meet others, socialize, enjoy the weather and this beautiful Woodstock park before it undergoes some massive improvements!
Anticipated start time is around 1pm and the end time is as long as we are enjoying each other’s company and the park as long as the park is still open!
