
About this Event
Learn to make pickles three ways: (1) Refrigerator Pickles; (2) Hot Water Bath Canning Pickles; and (3) Lacto-Fermented Pickles. For the refrigerator pickles, you can select from a variety of seasoned pickle packets from the Great Lakes Pickling Company. We will use IndieFermented turmeric mango kombucha vinegar for the refrigerator pickles and the hot water bath canning method. A salt brine will be used for the lacto-fermented pickles. A variety of ingredients/spices will be provided but feel free to bring along your favorite ingredients. You will take home two 26 oz jars of pickles and one pickle packet.
